As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 2,230,〔〔〔 reflecting an increase of 147 (+7.1%) from the 2,083 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 304 (+17.1%) from the 1,779 counted in the 1990 Census.〔(Table 7.
